Dense crumb, hearty old fashioned, Granary Sour dough whole wheat breads with molasses and pearl barley..PHOTOS only
I started this bread this morning. A good, hearty and very heavy old fashioned "Granary" bread made with a sour dough starter, whole wheat, cooked pearl barley and black strap molasses. Cooked in a steam filled oven. A great bread good with anything, low fat and sugar, high fiber and high flavor..enjoy the photographs. Very dense crumb too.
