This is a simple & very delicious dressing and can be adapted by adding to any veggies cold or warm.
Basic Recipe:
2tbsp oil (safflower,olive, sunflower)
2tbsp miso paste ( for less salt use low salt miso paste)
2tbsp honey or agave syrup
1tbsp lemon juice/rice vinegar (not seasoned)/ cider vinegar/wine vinegar
combine everything together in a bowl and allow to marinate for 2-3 hours before using.
Variations:
You may add:
Minced fresh ginger root
Prepared mustard or wasabi
Prepared horseradish sauce (not creamed)
Tahini or roasted nut butter (this will make a spreadable "sauce")
Minced fresh garlic
Sesame seeds
Caraway, Fennel, Dill, Coriander seeds
Minced cilantro, mint, parsley..add just before serving
Shredded Daikon radish
Grated citrus peel
