A Day Out..The Getty Villa Museum, Malibu

If you ever visit Southern California, make sure you call in advance and book a space here at the museum it is fantastic..take a back-up camera or batteries as there is so much to photograph. Admission is free you just have to pay for parking $15.

This is smaller than the Getty Center in the Sepulveda Pass, also in Los Angeles; but I think it is a friendlier and better...the staff are wonderful. 
There is also a fantastic indoor/outdoor patio cafe,the  the food is freshly prepared, salads, soups and desserts, it is fabulous.
Try it if you do come to visit. 

This site is  dedicated to the arts and cultures of ancient Greece, Rome and Etruria....enjoy just some of the 300 photographs +, I took today over the space of 5 hours!!
