OR you can start now by eating more dark Chocolate, here is a basic recipe where you may add whatever you like, just make sure the amounts are the same or as near too.
CHOCOLATE, FRUIT AND NUT NIBBLES..APPROX 140 CALORIES PER INCH
These are great as a treat or for hiking.... They are unfortunately NOT a food group
12 ozs GOOD dark chocolate, chopped (don't use cooking chocolate)
2 cups roasted unsalted nuts (your choice)
3 cups pitted dried fruit chopped small (your choice and best way to chop is to use scissors, no need to chop raisins)
Method:
Bring a small pan of water to boil.
Put the chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
Remove the pan of boiling water and place the pot of chocolate over the boiled water, and allow the chocolate to melt. (don't microwave the chocolate).
Mix the nuts and fruit well into the chocolate.
Pour onto a wax paper/parchment lined 10 x 9 dish/cookie sheet/roasting pan, sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds or shredded unsweetened dried coconut ( plain or toasted) and allow to set at room temp.
When set, remove the wax paper and cut chocolate into 1 inch squares.
Store in airtight container.
