CHIA seeds THE new POWER seed..how to eat it/prepare it properly
The problem with everyone's ideas for recipe for this wonder seed, is that the minute they meet moisture they soak it up and it eventually surrounds the seed, inside which is where all the Power is.
The secret to get all the power from the seed is to grind it before preparing anything.
Just like flax seed meal, allows all the nutrients to be absorbed quickly, because the flax seed has been crushed, the same applies to chia.
The Ancient Aztecs DID use chia seeds as a way to stave off hunger when in battle but they chewed it well.
In modern times no one really chews anything well, so grind the chia then prepare, even in smoothies.
Grind in a clean coffee grinder or mortar and pestle..then add to all your dishes and you WILL feel the benefits, otherwise like a lot of "New Fangled" diet ideas, you are wasting your money.
Also use sparingly..measure with a teaspoon, with chia a little goes along way.
