A beautiful day here in Los Angeles, mild temps in low 70f's and cool ocean breezes.
I am taking a hiatus from cooking until at least Christmas as I have landed a position as a consultant, which requires a lot of traveling around Los Angeles and, later in the year, leading workshops and classes.
So Thanks for all your support and interest in Meat-free meals, I will continue to upload any tasty recipes I discover, but I will not be posting 2 times a week as in past few years.
Have a safe and wonderful rest of the year, John Nigel

These photos are from the La Brea Tar Pits and Page Museum, Los Angeles...fossils galore and 30,000yr old cooking/storage pots..taken yesterday

To all my thousands of regular readers world wide, I have not been posting as much as I had problems with my laptop (my trackpad wore out, now I am using a wireless mouse and it is better than ever).

This weeks menu (I am only delivering once a week now as I have accepted a consultancy job in Beverly Hills) is packed with vegan and vegetarian dishes).
I am a sort of reluctant Vegan in that I cannot do dairy, but live plain yogurt which has no lactose naturally.plus I am getting to the stage where I really do prefer not to eat meat.
These dishes have become faves with most of my clients too..enjoy the photos as we in LA enter a 5 year drought and are welcoming in another hot summer..
