Thinning out summer overgrowth and moving my tomato and pepper plants into more sunlight.
I am already picking tomatoes, peppers and eggplants, some I have used for this menu:
These 2 are the vegetable-asparagus alphabeti soups |
The rich filling for the tamale pies...own grown bell peppers, chickpeas, onions, garlic, in a chunky vegetable-tomato sauce |
These 2 the own grown eggplant and mushroom pasta sauce |
There is also a butternut squash in agave syrup and fresh rosemary, roasted with steamed brown rice ( photos tomorrow)
A French Bistro style, salt-free eggplant (own grown) pate with tortillas
A vegetable couscous salad
Blue corn corn breads..corn breads and tamales will be baked tomorrow just before delivery
Raisin-sunflower seed oatmeal cookies ..I will make these tonight and post photos tomorrow with the rest of the menu
