Tomorrow my clients have chosen a menu that circles the culinary world a bit:
From Italy..
Minestrone soup packed with red bell peppers, yellow and green zucchini, onions, garlic, corn, peas and alphabetti pasta
A great pasta based lasagna all vegetable with added Mature Cheddar cheese, red wine and nutritional yeast to give depth of flavor.
From mainland Spain, a Paella made with whole cashew nuts in place of large shrimp, and a base of organic brown basmatti rice with green beans, garlic, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, black olives, turmeric, smoked paprika, and finished with chopped cilantro..a beautiful and delicious dish that is very popular here.
Then roasted beets and carrots with smoked paprika ( also Spanish)
Potato Latkes with own made chunky apple sauce ...Israel-America
Alaskan Style, sour dough walnut-flax-banana whole wheat waffles
Italian-American style Raisin, walnut, orange oatmeal cookies
