And now for something completely different, these are 100% natural and vegan and no cook.
They are very high fiber and you may use any dried and reconstituted fruit (soak overnight 1 cup dried fruit in 1/2 cup fruit juice or herbal tea or even just water) and any raw nut also in same quantities as the recipe below.
These make great, guilt-free high fiber snacks, and a little goes along way
2 1/2 cups any raw nut
1 cup reconstituted dried fruit (dates, figs, prunes, apples, peaches, apricots, raisins, & etc and any combo too)
1/2 tbsp orange flower water or rose petal water OR 1 tbsp orange juice
Roughly process the nuts and add to a bowl
Roughly process the fruit and add to the nuts stir in the water, and allow to marinate for 2 hours at room temp.
Then using a teaspoon form into small balls and roll in
1 cup processed fine raw nuts
Refrigerate in sealed containers and snack when hungry.
These are good for children & adults.
