TAHINI COFFEE CAKE..egg free and dairy free, made with honey

This is a beautiful cake..subtly rich and deep flavors..no one will guess what it is made from.

Makes 1 x 9inch round cake


Preheat oven 350F middle shelf

ALL INGREDIENTS AT ROOM TEMP

Blend together well:

1/2 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup honey
3/4 cup tahini (mix it well in the jar before pouring out)
1 1/2tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground coriander


ADD

2 cups whole wheat pastry flour
1/2 cup raw sesame seeds
1 cup water

Mix well then pour into a lightly oiled 9 inch round cake pan

Bake 35-40 mins

Cool in pan on rack and un-mold when cold
