Peanut-Chocolate Drops.-nobake and can be totally Vegan
These can be made by adults and kids with adult supervision...sometimes maybe the other way round...lol
They are really scrumptious, easy and so simple
FOR VEGAN USE VEGAN CHOCOLATE AND CEREAL
1/2 cup/8 ozs chocolate...plain, milk, flavored..as long as it is real chocolate and not cooking chocolate which has high amounts of Palm Butter and sets too hard.
1/2 cup/8ozs peanut butter or ANY roasted nut butter ( if making with sesame paste, tahini, use well mixed, not runny)
3 cups of any breakfast cereal..not oatmeal. corn flakes, bran flakes, Cheerios & etc.
Just melt the chocolate in a large bowl over simmering water with the peanut butter DO NOT ALLOW ANY WATER TO GET INTO THE MIX OR IT IS RUINED.
ADULTS SHOULD DO THIS AS IT IS VERY HOT
remove when everything is melted and blended together and stir in the breakfast cereal.
Drop teaspoonfuls on to a parchment lined cookies sheet and allow them to chill
OR Fill small cake pans with waxed paper liners 3/4 full..chill until firm and enjoy
Splurging:
great topped with ice cream.vanilla bean or chocolate
add dried fruit/chopped nuts/mini marshmallows/ sprinkles & etc. but keep the dry mix 3 cups..(so if you add 1 cup dried fruit then use just 2 cups cereal)
Great for any night of the week...and great for parties of any kind
make larger ones using a pie pan as abase for a dessert "pizza"..top with fresh fruit and whipped cream.
Or a torte... using 2 pie pan sized, sandwiched together with fruit and cream or even use 'Nutella" in place of peanut butter, with white chocolate and bananas
the uses are endless..and it is sooo very easy
make them your own..very global and very very delicious.
