Heading east from Morongo to Yucaa Valley..road stretches for miles in a straight line

Joshua Trees (relative of Lily family) only grow at high elevations here in Yucca Valley I am over 2000ft above sea level

now  take unpaved road by Quail mountain still heading south

I have made it, had to drive 2 1/2 hours but made it 2500ft above sea level, and the pies made it too and are now in fridge..enjoy
