Black bean and Broccoflower soup; Roasted Tomato soup; Roasted vegetable tarts; Tempeh-Mushroom SloppyJoes, Peanut butter cookies..PREP IN PHOTOS




Tempeh..fermented soy beans comes in blocks, add to boiling water and cook for 15 mins then rinse off and they crumble, when added to soups and stews they  add texture, just like ground meat, without the guilt.


Base for the Sloppy Joes

Saute the mushrooms and crumbled tempeh, add Worcestershire sauce (fish free) and then fresh tomato sauce and cook for 45 mins on low simmer

The roasted vegetables for the tarts will bake off tomorrow

Peanut butter cookie dough will bake tonight as it has to firm up in fridge for a few hours
