The couscous finished with mint, cranberries and sesame seeds

The completed rice pilaf with smoked paprika, peas, carrots, sunflower seeds, onions. Pilaf is different from "fried rice" as although it begins by sauteing vegetables and cooked dried rice, it is finished with wine/sherry and stock., and should remain somewhat moist.
