The rain and snow storm has left us..now warm 70f's and getting warmer and now planting for summer cooking

rainbow yesterday at twilight

California (Native) Cabbage Palm with pomegranate buddings

Hybrid Jasmine

White peach blossoms against stormy sky

Freshly picked today and my "Spring" bulbs are just coming up..we have had some crazy hot weather and a very dry "rainy season". Today low 70f's and getting warmer now.

Planted today, mixed lettuces, spinach and heirloom Italian "Blue" Broccoli, for harvesting this summer

Wild flowers to attract more bees to the garden to pollinate the vegetable plants

I am growing some tomatoes in black plastic frames to keep moisture in and pests off..also planted marigolds(natural pest resistance for tomatoes) and perpetual basil that grows well around tomatoes..notice hyacinths just flowering, and flat leaf parsley on far right

This is Sacred White Mountain Sage, used by Native Americans to purify with burning smudges, this plant is Native to California and is over 10yrs old..very volatile oil and very fragrant and strong, aromatic leaves

Spring has sprung!, tonight America Springs forward by putting our clocks forward 1 hour, (Daylight Savings time), also a New Moon tomorrow..notice the flat leaf parsley in background, right.
