The cold spell we were promised only lasted 24hours..today was a breezy mid 80f's and tomorrow and rest of week is going to be hotter.
We are now under water restrictions and being asked to reduce our household consumption, by 20%, as we are in a State of Emergency 2 yr drought.

Here is what I have been up to today..delivering round town:

peanut butter cookie dough

Flatten slightly with tines of a fork then bake 10-15 mins at 375F

Cool on cookie sheet, then wire rack

All the bread is wholewheat, sourdough with poppy seed rolled in cooked steamed brown rice..for "nutty" flavor and extra fiber
