Vegan soups & winter stews....Year of the Water Snake..

                                            Happy New Year!!!

Calming, soothing energy fills this upcoming year when people will be working on themselves more, and improving their well being. Deep secrets will be revealed.
Hopefully this will mean more people eating healthier, and making more good vegetable choices. Also more medical "cures" will be recognized from a mainly, plant based diet.

My clients have chosen the following menu for delivery on Monday:

Both the soups are vegan, and both are partially blended, one is an artichoke and fennel and the other is a bright red tomato-parnsip soup.
Red is the color for good fortune in the Chinese/Asian culture.

 The entrees:

A lightly gingered stew with yams, parsnips, peas, lemongrass, greens (kale), and finished with coconut milk and peanut butter, Served with steamed brown rice

A Spicy black bean chili with chipotle and cilantro with bulgur wheat and hominy also served with steamed brown rice and toastadas..large fried corn tortillas.

Tomato-leek stew with zucchini, basil, carrots, celery this is served with chow mein noodles

For dessert a caramel- banana & roasted almond  cake & everyone gets fortune cookies (yes I know they are originally American-Asian)
