Wholewheat Hot cross buns recipe May 27th 2013
I just used wholewheat flour for both recipes and for the hot cross buns I doubled the fruit as they are loaves, and baked them 25 mins at 375F in steamed filled oven (steam helps the dough to expand in the heat..put a roasting pan of boiling water in bottom of a preheated 400f oven just before putting the breads in turn down to 375F).
All these breads are now cooling down in my kitchen in west Los Angeles.
